LAMBRUSCO MAESTRI

LAMBRUSCO MAESTRI

The name Maestri seems to derive from “Villa Maestri”, a stately home situated in the municipality of San Pancrazio, in the province of Parma.
The grapes from this vine varietal are often blended with other varieties of Lambrusco and are appreciated for their ability to provide colour, tannicity and body to the wines obtained.
These latter are also known as “Dark Lambrusco wines” and are characteristic of the Reggio Emilia and Parma areas.
Lambrusco Maestri is a RED WINE GRAPE variety with MEDIUM-SIZED, CYLINDRICAL SHAPED CLUSTERS. The SPHERICAL, MEDIUM-SIZED BERRIES are SLIGHTLY TART, thus excellent for making sparkling wine.
